GEORGETOWN TOUR CONFIRMATION
Dear Paddler,
We
are delighted you will be joining us on a sea kayak tour launching from
Georgetown! This confirmation package includes general information, directions
to the trip launch site, a checklist of what to bring, a medical information
form, and a release.
We provide kayaks,
paddles, life jackets, and safety equipment. Please print out, read, and
complete the release and medical information forms. It will save time if you
bring the completed forms with you the day of the trip. Please do not e-mail or
fax these forms back to us. Simply bring them with you to the trip. We have
extras on hand at each trip location in case you forget to bring them with
you.
CANCELLATION
POLICY
If you must cancel a
tour or class, please notify us 5 days in advance, and we will offer you a 100%
credit toward any future trip. We do not issue refunds under any circumstances.
Cancellation for any reason without 5 days' notice will forfeit your entire
trip fee, and you will have to pay to reschedule that class or tour.
All trips are rain or
shine. Should any severe water or weather conditions occur which produce unsafe
conditions, we reserve the right to delay, postpone, substitute or cancel a
trip as a matter of safety for our guests and guides We will make the final
call whether to cancel for safety reasons on site at the time the event is
scheduled to begin. We have found that many storms pass through very quickly,
and some of the most beautiful paddling is just after a storm. And how many
times has the forecast been wrong?
If Atlantic Kayak
Company must cancel a class or tour for any reason, we will give you full
credit toward any future tour or class. Again, we do not issue refunds under
any circumstances.
Thank you for taking
the time to read this and for your cooperation and understanding.
If you have any questions
or comments, please give us a call. We hope you enjoy sea kayaking, and thank
you for joining us!
