What better way to see and appreciate DC than to kayak through history! We launch near the Pentagon, kayak under the Memorial Bridge with views of the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Kennedy Center and Watergate. Then we'll paddle to Roosevelt Island, now a wildlife sanctuary and at one time home to African American soldiers during the Civil War, and enjoy views of the Francis Scott Key Bridge. Each turn reveals a fascinating bit of history that keeps participants engaged and enthusiastic for every minute of this memorable trip!
